Obituary
Judith (Judy) Eileen Wildman (Ward) born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England on April 2, 1945 and passed away 28 June 2021 in Indianapolis, IN after illness that recently became severe. Judy was preceded in death by her parents John and Eileen Wyard. A GI bride of husband Larry K. Wildman for 55 years, and Mother of Sean Wildman. Two Grandchildren, Christopher and Amy and Great Grandmother of Nolan. A brother, Desmond Wyard lives in London. Judy loved Soccer and watching husband in walking events. Judy always loved forming friendships with other families on our Navy base and Civilian communities where we lived. Judy endured many broken bones and fractures due to osteoporosis, only recently helped by a new medication. Many photos of her show her in one kind of cast or inflatable boot. She tolerated many pills, not always without protest, diabetic injections, and other ailments, always seemingly to rally through and persevering. This last medical encounter was too overwhelming. She loved the holidays with family and Larry's singing in the choir for the services. She loved being British and Loved the Royal Family and British cooking. Trips to Jungle Jim's store in Cincinnati for ingredients and her favorite British Tea. Till we meet again, beyond suffering and grief, where Love prevails. Side note: Judy and I gave donations to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital from time to time, and instead of flowers, tributes in the form of contribution to St. Jude's would be desired.

Dear Larry and Family, I was very sorry to hear of Judy's death. I have very fond memories of her from St Gabe's. She was always full of life and had a wicked sense of humor. "Cheeky bugger" was a common reply from her! May she now rest in peace and prayers for comfort for all of you. Love, Diane Stothard

It was a great shock to hear the news of Judy's demise. We have very fond memories of aunt Judy who we befriended through our daughter at St. Chris. She was always full of life, laughter. It was always wonderful to spend time with her. Our daughter would always look forward to see her in the church. And her thoughtful gift for the little ones for every occasion made our kids feel delighted. Her famous "full of beans" that she uses to always address our daughter will always remain in our hearts forever. Our eyes would definitely look for you when we visit St. Chris next time. We miss you and we pray for your family. May the Lord grant eternal rest.

Larry, our love and condolences go out to you, Sean, and his family, and to Judy's brother Desi.
The Lord has called another Angel Home.
Vida and I were there at the beginning, around for evenings at the Armed Services Center in Ipswich, watching your love blossom and grow. We had the honor of attending yours and Judy's wedding, had the pleasure of your company for dinner and got to wave goodbye as you drove off in the little white midget. Over the years we have cherished the memories of our times together, even though in later years they were few. We loved Judy and will miss her quipping "You Cheeky Bugger!"
To paraphrase A. A. Milne, Judy was braver than we ever thought, stronger than we ever believed, bright as daylight, and ever so witty, and even if we're apart, she will always be with us.
