Obituary
Patricia Ann Hay, 74, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis to Mary and Alfred William Lynch on September 7, 1946. Patricia graduated from Washington High School in 1965. She worked as a child care provider, a caregiver, house cleaner and for Claim Aid Consulting. She was very involved in church activities such as church choir and helping with card hospitality. Patricia enjoyed attending church small group with her son. She loved helping and serving others and being around children. She had a passion for reading Debbie Macomber books and word search puzzles. Patricia was a Breast Cancer survivor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 27 years, James Hay, step mother, Jessie Lynch, brother, Daniel Haas and sister, Deborah K. Medeiros. She is survived by her son, Alfred William Hay; brothers, David Haas and Patrick Michael Lynch; and her step son, James “Jimmy” Robert Hay. Al, we love you! Aunt Pat was a sweetheart, always loved to visit with her when she was in. She always had such a beautiful smile, loved to hear her laugh. She will be missed. Prayers for all.

Even though Patty was not my biological aunt I’ve always referred to her as “aunt Patty.” I’ve known her since I was a little girl and I’ve always loved her and viewed her as family. She was a good-hearted, sweet, generous, God fearing woman. I have no doubt she has the biggest palace with her name on it in the kingdom of Heaven. She will be greatly missed.
