Denise Crane

Denise Arlene Brooking Crane, 68, of Plainfield, IN passed away on August 9, 2021. Denise was born in Indianapolis on November 17, 1952 to Frances and Betty (Hoagland) Brooking, both preceding her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles Crane; and daughter Shanon Martinez. Denise was an EMT for Wayne Township Fire Department and worked at the Indiana Blood Center before going into in home child care for 30 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church for over 52 years and operated their Food Pantry. Denise was a loving, compassionate, and would take in anyone. She would help anyone and loved them without judgement. She was the kindest soul. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. Denise is survived by her children Michele (Casey) Thompson, Tiffany (Marc) Sandberg and Phillip (Mallery) Crane; grandchildren Corinda (Eric), Logan (Rashade), Ashlyne (Connor), Nicholas (Morgan), Riley, Hailey, Mason, Jacey, Brooklyn and Camden; great grandchildren Isaac, Lucas and Emmie; siblings Belinda (Jim), Ray (Pam), Debra (Richard), Joe (Sharon), Pat (Karen) and Melissa; four brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews and bonus family Cindy, Jonathan, Kaitlyn Jenkins (kids), Jessi Warren, Aubree and Brantley.
