Doris Jean Bishop, 85, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on August 30, 2021. Doris was born In Somerset, KY on March 11, 1936 to Matthew and Mildred “Millie” (Keith) Coomer. Doris is preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard Bishop; son Stevens Bishop. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Williams, Brenda Cyzyk, and Shawna Powers; and many extended family and friends

My deepest sympathy to the family at the loss of such an amazing woman. She was like a mother to me growing up, and even when I became an adult…she was always there for me. She will be sorely missed. Heaven received a beautiful angel. I know Momma Jean is up there with my Momma now…and their catching up on their stories (soaps), sipping coffee talking about us kids, and cleaning their mansions til they’re spic-n-span!! I’ll see you lovely ladies when the Good Lord decides to call me home. Until then, know I am missing you both so very much. Love, Angie
