Pamela Phillips

Pam Fenner Phillips was my first friend on this Earth, many moons ago. Since we were wee toddlers. We spent a few glorious days every summer at our Grandma Georgie's house, snuggled up under the covers with our cousins, giggling for hours. We tried to fall asleep as we listened to the loud snoring of Grandma and Grandpa Fenner in the next bed over. One of them would wake up and tell us to get to sleep, of course that just made us giggle more. I could talk for hours to Pam about anything, and we did. Pam easily made me laugh out loud, even as we became "mature" ladies. She was so darn funny. Pam, please keep our family laughing in heaven, it must be getting crowded up there now. Family, at grandparents LeRoy and Gerogianna's: dressing up David as a bride we girl cousins were ornery. Watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at Aunt Becky's and Uncle Dwight's while Pamela lay in her Scarlet Fever Heart Healing Bed in the lower level. She smiled and laughed and made light of her plilght...never got to see the end of the musical till another time. Harry found his true companion and cared for her and his kids. Take note of the dedication they had for each other. She is young but she is fierce in being Jesus follower. I remember her thanking Howard and Louise for stopping to pick her up so she could attend church/bible school. Grandma Georgie had us circle around the piano and sing Jesus Loves the Little Children of the World, Red and Yellow, Black and White they are pleasant in his sight....and He loves us and has prepared a place for us to abide in Heaven. I was so glad cousin Julia let me know of Pam's passing, but so sorry to hear the news. She was a great friend when we were in high school and after. I know the family will miss her terribly, but rejoice greatly in her PERFECT HEALING! May God hold you near as you go through this time.

Although Pam and I were not in communication after graduation, as kids we were good friends. Loved staying overnight at her parents' very welcoming home. I always thought of Pam as a good hearted and honest soul. I appreciated her as a friend. Sending my condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear Pam has passed but I know as everyone does, she is with the Lord. What a sweet and loving person she was. I drove to the Eat 'n' Time at lunch in senior year with Pam and Susie Buck. I have always remembered the fun we had and cherished the moments. To Pam's family and close friends, I know there will be much pleasure in remembering such a wonderful person and I pray for you at this sad time.
