Kortney "Kort" Marie McCray, late of Fishers Indiana passed away on November 25 at Community North Hospital. Born November 9, 1979, in Indianapolis, Kort is survived by her fiancé' Douglas Presley; children, Alanna Spalding, Jayda Curtis, and Daylen Curtis; her mother, Kathleen Parker;step-brother Leonard Parker Jr. and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her dogs Chase and Mya. Kortney was preceded in death by grandparents Melba and Robert Schubnell, by her father Leonard Parker, her step-brother Jonny Parker. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Stevens' Mortuary, with viewing prior to the funeral service from 11am to 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donation be sent to Stevens' Mortuary.

Kortney (Marv) was one of my closest and best friends growing up. She was my cousin, but we were more than that. We were thick as thieves as they say and goofed around often, we had so much fun!!! Sometimes we may have gotten into trouble getting into mischief together at Grandma and Grandpas and even in Florida on family vacations. We had so many awesome and great memories. I loved her a lot and am so so sad right now since her passing. It is literally unreal to me and cannot believe I’ll never get to see or talk to her again. I love you so much Marv, love you always and forever Holly (Herb).

It is still so hard to believe that you were gone I'm so happy that we had our conversations over the past couple of years it makes me happy to know that you are finally so happy but I will see you again one day until then I will hold you in my heart

I’m so sorry for your family for your loss I met kortney a few times and talked to her She was nice to talk to She would come get my son Christian because he’s dating jayda her daughter I didn’t know her for long But am so sad that she’s gone too soon I pray for her kids and family and I wish I got the chance to know her more. Prayers for comfort and strength for u all The Smith Family !!

I watched Kortney grow into a beautiful young woman and then into an even more beautiful mother.
You always stopped and spoke to me when you see me no matter what was going on.
One day we will see each other again and have some more conversations.
