Obituary
Anna Kolmakova, 81, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully on December 6, 2021. Anna was born in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine on September 29, 1940 to Anton and Mariye Oksamytnaya. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, son, daughter (Olena Castello), and grandson (Armen Nazaryan). Anna was a beloved and devoted grandmother, daughter, sister, mother, and was a shining light to everyone around her. She loved spending time outside riding her bike, walking, reading, and spending time with family. She was a faithful woman and is now resting in the Lord's embrace. She is survived by her granddaughter, Stephany Zhivotovsky, and grandson, Phillip Castello. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 9, 2021 at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church 7855 Marsh Road Indianapolis, IN with a visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment to follow at Floral Park Cemetery.

Anna loved everyone. I cannot remember a time when I did not see her smiling or saying she loved us. When she lost her daughter, life became a little less bright, but she still took time to show her love no matter what kind of a day she might be having. She is to be admired by her humbleness. I am sure that she is riding her bicycle through the gates of heaven. She will be missed by so many.
