Rebecca Lane

Rebecca Lane, beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully at her home after a long illness, on Sunday, February 27th. She was preceded in death by her husband David of 59 years, her parents Russell Lutz and Yvette Hicks and step-father Carl Edward Hicks. Becky is survived by her children: Dean Curtis Lane, Laura Jo Dixon, Christine Ann Voege, Timothy Allen Lane and Brent Karl Lane; grandchildren, great grandchildren and her beloved sisters, Patricia Barnes and Barbara Beineke. Becky was loved by her friends and neighbors who appreciated her sweet kind personality and her sense of humor which was always punctuated by her distinctive laugh, which delighted those in her presence. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy in 1960. She was a real estate broker for thirty-five years, and in the last decades of her career was self-employed. Her interest included euchre, going to garage sales, bingo and casinos, and watching crime and horror movies on television. Becky was devoted to her family and Christmas was her special day. She, also, enjoyed travel and was a committed Christian. Her little dog, Skeeter, was her constant companion.
