Lisa Ann Smith, 63, of Indianapolis passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. She was born November 1, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to Ramon and Elizabeth (Betty) Volpatti. Lisa graduated from Speedway High School and spent most of her life working as a bookkeeper for multi-unit residential communities. Lisa is survived by her son, Daniel (Jessica) Smith, from Morgantown, IN; sister Marcia (Mark) of Speedway, IN, brothers, Brian (Angelene) Volpatti of Dayton, OH, and Mark (Stephen) of Zionsville, IN; grandchildren Schylar and Layla both of Morgantown, IN. Visitation will be help on Monday, May 16 from 4 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in Steven's Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th Street, Speedway.

Sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. Lisa was a TRUE FRIEND to Rexanne Stevens Smith and gave her comfort, joy, strength and hope when she needed it most. Rexanne always remembered the good times they shared and that through thick and thin their friendship endured . May God give you comfort at this time knowing that God has granted her peace.

I was so sad today when I found out that Lisa had passed. I met Lisa years ago through a very close friend, Rexanne Smith. I have a lot of great memories of the 3 of us. She will be missed. My condolences to the family.
