That quote is so perfect for Connie. I will never forget how welcoming she was and how she treated our kids as if they were her own grandchildren. We didn't get to visit often enough, but we have many fond memories of our time spent with Connie...spoiling me with endless corn on the cob, the beautiful yard and flowers, making teddy bears with Chloe and Josh, and Connie and George consuming many playdough meals. I can hear her laugh and picture her smiling and will think of her fondly every time I underline something on a birthday card.
