Willa Jean “Jean” DeBaun, 94, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on July 11, 2022. Jean was born in Coldwater, MI to Virgil and Lora Harr on September 7, 1927, both preceding her in death. Jean was a loving and caring person to her family and those she adored. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending quality time with all of them. She was an avid Reds and Cubs baseball fan. Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Lee DeBaun, daughter Teresa DeBaun, son Roger DeBaun and a brother Thomas Harr “Bud”. She is survived by her son David DeBaun; daughter Denise Hughes; grandchildren Larry DeBaun, Sarena Pierson, Angela (Dave) Higdon, Mike McGuire, Jennifer Brumett and Mark Hughes; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

My Grandma was the kindest most caring person I was to ever know. She carried that beautiful smile all through life. She never met a stranger. She would invite salesmen in to have a home cooked meal. She was Grandma to all the neighborhoods children as well. Her and Grandpa took me to several Reds games which is the team I follow to this day. She was truly an Angel in the flesh. Thank you Grandma for being the best always. Love Mikey
