Tracy M. Clayton, 81, Brownsburg, IN, passed away August 7, 2022. He was born on August 7, 1941 in Linton IN to Elmer and Mable Clayton. Tracy worked for Aetna Plywood in Indianapolis, IN for 30 years, retiring in 2013. He attended Chapel Rock Christian Church for 54 years. He was a charter member of the Chapel Hill Lion's Club and continued serving as health permitted up to the time of his death. Tracy loved spending time with his family and enjoyed being a papaw to 7 grandkids and 3 great grandkids. He also enjoyed traveling, playing cards and his favorite pastime was hosting family and friends for Holidays and special gatherings. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Colts, Pacers and Hoosiers fan. Tracy was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mable Clayton; brothers, Harry (Betty) Clayton, Calvin (Betty) Clayton and Randy Clayton; sister, Julia (Philbert) Wright; and daughter, Teresa Evans. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Crook) Clayton; sons, Tracy Alan (Carol) Clayton and Timothy Clayton; and daughter, Tana (Randy) Green; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Tracy brought me to the Aetna work family and for the next 2 decades was a friend as well as mentor to my growth at Aetna. He showed all of us "youngsters" how to work with our customers as well as each other. He was charitable but also humble. His work with Lions and church was an example to all.
Caroline was the love of his life and together they were formidable bridge partners.
Tracy blessed us all.

My mom and Tracy worked together at Aetna Plywood for years. We enjoyed alot of fun times. I pulled his name out on a contest to go to the Superbowl, we had cookouts at his house, we traveled together for meetings,Tracy was a super person and friend.There are so many memories Will miss him. Carol and Tracy will always have a special spot in my heart and with my family. Carol sending my love.
