Obituary
Tami Inman, 31, of Indianapolis passed away on November 11, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis to Deborah Louise Inman and Gordon Paul Tucker on April 17, 1991. Tami enjoyed taking trips and listening to music. She loved being around her family and friends. She loved caring and doing things for kids, she always threw parties for the kids in her family. She loved children, especially her son. She also loved her dogs. Tami had a big heart and would do anything for anybody. Tami is survived by her parents, Deborah Inman and Paul Tucker; grandmother, Zola Brackney; life partner, Chris Patten; son, Josiah Ray Perkins; sister, Tamera Waters; brother, David Inman; cousin, Hailey Dawn; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. She was the Mother to my great nephew Josiah. He couldnt have asked for a more loving and doting mother and she will be missed. I am going to miss the chance for our friendship to grow and blossom. We had plans for when I got into my new place, that will never happen. I regret not making it back to the hospital to let her know how much I valued her friendship, as I was getting moved in and trying to get things settled for when she got out. Do not delay letting those you love and care for know how important they are. The apartment could have waited but she couldnt. I will miss you and forever be thankful for the love you bestowed upon Jojo. Goodbye until we meet again. Hug your baby girl for me:)

Beautiful soul! I can’t think of a single even remotely negative thing about her. This is so hard bc I just knew she’d pull through again. My heart goes out to Chris and her baby boy. Although cut short I’m happy she was able to experience the joys of motherhood before going home to heaven. 🤍
