Obituary
Matthew Darnell Green 63 of Indianapolis passed away at his home of natural causes on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Matthew was born on April 27, 1959. He was the son of the late James L. and Margaret J. Creek Green of Bloomington, Indiana. He is survived by his wife Debra A. Green of Indianapolis. In addition, he is survived by one brother David B. Green (Gledia) and Cheryl R. Green (Bill) of Bloomington. He was predeceased by a sister Claudia J. Kalish and a nephew Benyamin White. Matthew graduated from Vincennes University with an AS degree in Restaurant and Food Service Administration. Matthew had a beautiful singing voice and loved to sing. He loved to make everyone laugh. He always loved to cook, fish, and loved all our dogs and tortoises. He loved life, the Lord and never met a stranger. He will be sorely missed. A private memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Friends of Indianapolis Animal Care Services Foundation; 7399 N. Hi Debra, I am sorry to hear of Matt's passing. I was friend's with Matt when at Vincennes University from 1978 to 1980. I had lost contact with Matt back in early 80s. Matt was a good friend and also there to listen when problems occured. We were both in United Campus Christian fellowship. Matt was a great person. I know he in the hands of our Lord. I was just looking up his name and the obituary came up. I do not have Facebook. You will be in my prayers. My name is Ray Weaver and I live in Galveston, Indiana near Kokomo. Always at my daughter's and son in law in Irvington. Never realized you guys were living so close. God bless and again I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
