Dora Stafford

Dora I. Stafford, 62, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. Dora was born in Indianapolis to Carolyn M. and Robert S. Stafford Sr. on October 18, 1960. She worked for the State of Indiana at Stout Field and was a professional housekeeper for more than 30 years. She was awarded Best Custodian of the year by the State of Indiana. She was a long-time member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church. She loved her family and her cat, Snickers. Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn M. and Robert S. Stafford Sr.; former husband, Michael C. Davis; grandmothers, Stella Skorjanc and Dora I. Stafford; grandfather, Warren Stafford; and great grandmother, Edith Sullivan. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany E. (Monica) Davis; brother, Robert S. Stafford Jr.; sister-in-law, Cathy Stafford; nephews, Mitchell (Natalee) Stafford and Lukas Stafford; great nephews, Sullivan and Tripp Stafford; and cousin, Linda (Richard) Fox. The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to the staff at Greenwood Health and Living and Paradigm Hospice for the loving care given to Dora.
