Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce that our father, Donald (Don) Lee Fox left this world on March 13, 2023, at the age of 74. He passed away peacefully at home, in Speedway, IN, surrounded by his loving family. Don is survived by his two daughters; Ashley Marie Fox and Aimee Elizabeth Fox; his mother, Thelma P. Engel Fox Schriever; his sister, Joletta (Jo) G. Fox; his son-in-law, James Edward Quatman Jr.; and his grandson, James Edward Quatman III (Monkey). Don was predeceased in death by his father, John Louis Fox.
Don was born and grew up in Seymour, IN where he attended Seymour High School in 1967. He attended Indiana University receiving a B.S. in Psychology in 1978 and a M.S. in Social Work from Indiana State University in 1979. He continued his work in psychology and opened his own practice, where he worked for over 20 years. He later attended Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, where he received a M.S. in Theological Studies. Don's monastery name is Francis Augustine, OSB (Order of St. Benedict).
Don will be deeply missed and forever hold a place in our hearts. We invite you to come and celebrate his life at his funeral at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Speedway, IN on Monday, March 20, 2023. Visitations will be held 9am to 11am, with a Catholic funeral mass at 11am.
