Thomas Walker III

Thomas L. Walker III, 52, of Indianapolis passed away on March 14, 2023. He was born in Gary, IN to Thomas L. Walker II and Joanne M. Walker on August 29, 1970. Thomas proudly served our country for 12 years with the Air Force.  He was a federal service employee for 29 years and 3 months. He worked for the Department of Transportation – Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Control Specialist. Thomas had an avid love for sports, especially basketball and football. The Dallas Cowboys were his favorite football team. He also enjoyed collecting comic books, football cards and basketball cards. He was very passionate about music and used to DJ for weddings, parties and other events.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Taisha M. Walker; grandmothers, Louise Walker and Alice Walker. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Krista R. Walker; daughter, Elaine Roldain; son, Thomas L. Walker IV; grandsons, Stephon Murry, Brandon Murry and Ethan Campbell; stepmother, Quintola Miller Walker; brother and sister-in-law, Desmond and Amy Walker; sister, Jenea Latimore; grandfather, Thomas L. Walker; special family friends, Will and Santedra Wright and Eric Shipp; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
