Peg's sisters, Marilyn Osborne and Clara Sue Downs, sister-in-law Cloa Thompson, and a host of nieces and nephews will also hold her memory dear.

Peg's professional journey was marked by her compassionate spirit and dedication to geriatric nursing. Beginning her nursing career in 1957, Peg's innate leadership and expertise led her to Lakeview Manor in 1969. Peg played an instrumental role with the Indiana State Department of Health, contributing to the development of the state's first procedures for nursing assistants and establishing the certification criteria for the profession. She culminated her illustrious career as the Director of Nursing at Lakeview Manor, retiring in 2007 after touching countless lives through her work.

A devout Christian, Peg was an active member of St. Christopher parish, embodying the love of Christ through her service. She volunteered tirelessly at the annual festival, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and provided sustenance for the funeral committee. Her commitment to her faith was matched by her passion for the PEO Sisterhood, where she mentored women and supported their educational aspirations.

Peg's life was a living example of the well-known scripture, "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:23).
