He departed this life on Monday, April 19, 2021. He attended Lew Wallace High School in Gary, Indiana. Keith worked various jobs most recently Dollar General. Keith was very artistic and had a passion for drawing and creating music. Keith is preceded in death by his brother Antonio Eugene Johnson, sister Latrice Johnson, brother-in-law Terry Wright, grandparents Rev. John (Lillie) Pleasant and S.L. Pleasant, 2 uncles: John L. Pleasant Jr. and Roger C. Pleasant, 2 aunts: Ernestine Pleasant Peters and Lillian Naugher. Keith leaves to cherish his memory: 2 children Serenity Johnson and baby Ka'mya Johnson both of Indianapolis, IN, father Tommy “Gene” Johnson of Philadelphia, MS, mother Lennetta Pleasant of Indianapolis, IN, 1 brother Tyrone Johnson of Gary, IN, 2 sisters Hazel Johnson Wright and LaVita Johnson of Indianapolis, IN, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Keith will also be remembered by his special friend Chris Horrell.

I knew you when you were little being a bad little smart mouth little brother going to the store for me and Hazel, or not giving us any if candy, truly going to miss you although I've been gone awhile but it hurts to know I won't here you say something smart to me.
