Carnine, 36, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, April 19, 2021.Megan was born February 7, 1985 to Paul Carnine and Janet G. Abney Gibson. Megan was very much a tomboy growing up, she played softball, a pitcher for Carnine Little League. She was a good student in school, receiving many academic awards over the years. At the age 16 she started working at McDonalds on W. Morris and Holt Road. She worked hard and with proven results attained the position of manager and worked their for many years. Megan was a hard worker, very dedicated to her job. Megan was a beacon of light; her smile and fun attitude always will be remembered. She was a devoted mother to both her daughter and son, as was a great friend to many. Megan was kind, generous, always going above and beyond to help those in need. Megan will be remembered for her upbeat attitude, having fun and joking around. She was always in a good mood, regardless if she wasn't feeling well. Megan is survived by her son, Jonah Anderson; daughter, Kiara Offutt; father, Paul Carnine; mother and step-father, Janet and Ted Gibson; sisters, Jennifer (Brian) Plymate Simpson and Stephanie Buffington; niece. Samantha Carnine; nephews, Brandon Foster and Danny Robinson; and one great nephew Kaison Foster; special neighbor and friend Becky Smith. In lieu of flowers, the family of Megan M. Carnine kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the family.

I truly loved working at McDonald's with Megan, she always was kind and hard working, she loved her children and family, I will miss her very much!!

Megan was a wonderful person to work with, and she loved deeply. She loved her children and her family so much. This is a terrible loss. She would always write me or comment to tell me how proud of me she was, or how much she supported me. Every Armed forces holiday she would write or comment, every post through my bachelors program and my masters she was there rooting me on. She was a huge supporter and kind to anyone through the bad days and good. She was a beautiful heart and soul. The world loss a true angel but she is now with her father looking after all of us. My dear friend Megan. My workout partner, my coworker. Life tore us apart but we always picked up where we left off. I can’t shake this numb feeling that your gone but you will be remembered by your bright light you shined on everyone’s life, including mine.
