Jonathan “John” Nicholson, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on July 28, 2024. He was 58 years of age. John was born in Indianapolis, IN in May of 1966 to Mary E. McDowell.
John recently worked for 3M for almost the two-years. He enjoyed working there and the people he worked with loved him. John's enjoyment came from watching sports; basketball, football and the Dallas Cowboys was his favorite team. He also loved cars and enjoyed watching how to restore them. He always tried to share his amazing sense of humor and wit with everyone, always wanting to make them laugh and smile. John also liked watching movies, especially action movies with Kung fu.
John loved his family deeply and showed his love through his actions, words, support and time spent with them. John loved having lunch, enjoying a basketball game or even just hanging and relaxing at home with family. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
John is survived by his mother, Mary E. McDowell; daughter Ashlie N. Nicholson; son Jonathan C. Nicholson; sisters Cornellius (Daniel) Woods, Zena (Charlie) Raymond, Allison McDowell and Marian McDowell; grandchildren Jay C. Porter, Jonathan C. Nicholson Jr, Amoni L. Nicholson and Winter J. Nicholson.
