Mira Stevic

+Mira Stevic (66) of Brownsburg Indiana born on the big feast Day of St. John the Baptist on September 11 and passed on to the Lord on another big feast day of the church Saints Cosmas and Damien July 14, 2026.  Her husband Zoran was by her side as she took her last breath.

She leaves behind her most loved daughter Mia, her sister Liliana, brother-in-law Zlatko, and much-loved niece Ena. Family and friends were everything to her.

She was born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she also finished higher education and became an economist.

She was an excellent seamstress, excellent Cook and Baker and absolutely loved gardening and flowers.  She loved helping anyone and everyone and was always willing to volunteer at her Saint Nicholas Church where she helped much with initial accounting regarding the building of the new church.  There at Saint Nicholas Church will be her Funeral on Friday the 17th of July at 1 PM with visitation from 12 PM to 1 PM. She will be buried at the church cemetery.  Following the burial memorial meal will be served at the church hall. May her memory be eternal, may God establish her soul where the Saints repose and give her family and friends strength to endure this temporary separation. Vjecnaja pamjat!
