Margaret Menchhofer

I didn’t know of Peggy’s passing. She was best friends with my mom, Dona, in Wisconsin. They would buy a box of wine and spend a week together goofing off. I still have many blankets and embroidered angels Peggy made for my kids. She was a special lady and a great friend to my mom.

I spent many times visiting with Peggy. We shared stories, we worked on several quilts together. She told lots of stories of her youth. Going to dances, ice skating and learning to fly a plane. We worked on her family tree. We met when she needed help with her computer. Peggy was my best friend. These last few years I would show her all my projects & she would make suggestions on how to make my quilts better.

Peggy & John were our wonderful neighbors for many years. John passed many years ago, but still remembered. Sending sympathy to Peggyy's family. She will be missed by many.
