Donna Robinson

Donna (Evans) Robinson Donna lost her battle with cancer on November 11, 2015. She was the only child of John O Hall and Doris E Hall. Donna served as an IPS Teacher for 28 years, the majority was at school IPS 96, retiring in 1994. She was a 1967 graduate from Indiana University and had 29 hours over her master's degree. She also attended Purdue and Butler. She finished her 4 year bachelor's degree in 2 years and 9 months. She loved teaching and was nominated for Teacher of the Year. She was a long time member of the Avon Christadelphian Ecclesia. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband James R. Evans, her 2nd husband James H. Robinson, daughter Carol S. Handy and step-grandson Nicholas Young. She is survived by daughters Marlene White, Connie Goodlander, Julie (David) Jones, sons Gary (Donna) Evans and William (Janet) Evans, stepdaughters Melissa (Tim) Jackson and Andrea Smith, sisters-in-laws Maxine Robinson and Ann Robinson, brothers-in-law Joe (Barbara) Evans and Steve (Judy) Evans, and 16 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, boating and playing cards. She had a love of all animals including several pet dogs, cats, and a snake named Jamie. As a child she had a pet horse that she did trick riding with. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 10 am – 12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls.
