Elaine Davis

Elaine Pood Randolph Davis 84, Indianapolis, died August 11, 2008. She was born in Lafayette, IN on December 4, 1923. She moved to Indianapolis in 1940. She also lived in Monticello, IN for a while, then moved back to Indianapolis. Mrs. Davis was a member of Liberty Homemakers, Beta Mu sorority. She volunteered for the Salvation Army as well as the Northwest Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church. Survivors include Susan Patterson of Indianapolis and Sandy Orr of Spencer. She leaves behind seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14 at Stevens Mortuary on West 10th Street, with visitation held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Lafayette, IN.
