Obituary
Jeffrey Daniel Pohlar, 48, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2009. Born on May 17, 1960 to Daniel R. Pohlar, Jr. and Gayle Shaneff, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Pohlar and stepfather, George Shaneff. Jeffrey worked at I.P.S. for 15 years in special education and was compassionate towards kids and animals. He is survived by his mother, Gayle, and stepmother, Doris; brother, Trent (Pam) Pohlar; sisters, Dawn (Steve) Moore and Jennifer (Ricky) Cremeans; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, with a 7:00 pm service on Wednesday, April 29 at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Online condolences may be made at www.stevensmortuary.net

Jeff was a great friend! His sense of humor will greatly be missed. I have so many memories of him that I will cherish!! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Jeff and I have worked together for 15 years. We sat side-by-side for the majority of those years. We had gotten to know each other pretty good and became good friends. I will have so many good memories of him. We made each other laugh a lot. I will truly miss Jeff so much and my prayers are with his family and friends.
