Jean Jamsa

Jean A. Adomeit Jamsa Age 71, Indianapolis, IN. Born December 20, 1937, died May 25, 2009. She was preceded in death by daughter: Katie Thurow. Jean had a PhD from Professional School of Psychology in Chicago and her most recent employment was in private practice. She was a member of SS Constantine and Elena Romanian Orthodox Church, and the Indy Survivors Dragon Boatracing. She enjoyed her six children and 10 grandchildren. She also love nature and supported Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Survivors: husband, Ken Jamsa, children, Erich (Kristin) Thurow, Janet (Lois) Thurow, Maggie Webb, Diane (Pete) Alberts, Daniel (Kristen) Jamsa and Sonja (Mark) Boekenhauer, sister Susie Leichliter and brothers Peter (Marilyn) Adomeit and Bruce (Nancy) Adomeit. Visitation will be held Thurs. May 28, from 4-7 pm with a service at 7 pm at SS Constantine and Elena Church, 3237 W. 16th St. Contributions can be made to Susan G.
