Joseph Masner

Joseph "Joe" P. Masner, Jr. 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 18, 2009. He was born on February 8, 1926. Joe was a member of the U.S. Army, serving with the medical corp. during the Korean War. Joe worked for Wayne Township School District for 25 years in the maintenance department as an electrician, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the American Legion Post 64 and enjoyed yard work, fishing and family vacations. Joe is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Masner; son, Larry Joe (Diane) Masner; daughter, Tina (Mike) Williamson; sister, Karen Vaught; grandchildren, Shannon, Sherry, Jolene and Jodi; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jasmine, Larry and Madison. Visitation will be held today, July 21, 2009 from 5-8:00 pm at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 there at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Online condolences may be made at www.stevensmortuary.net
