Obituary
Mary Katra Mastropaolo Indianapolis, passed away July 11, 2009, born August 30, 1915 to the late Alexander and Martha Katra. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles; brothers "Shonte" and George; sisters Lucretia, Margaret, Rebecca and Florence. She is survived by niece Joyce Napariu, nephew Felix (Diana) Mastropaolo, Special chosen niece Jessica Mazza. Also, nieces Angela Clumb, Palmira Mastropaolo, Florence Hughes and Lucretia Lamb; nephews Don Katra, Larry Katra and Paul Slaughter. Mary loved jazz and had many musician friends. We appreciate all the help and care provided by the staff at American Village and Vista Care Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, July 14, at Stevens Mortuary and Family Center , 5520 W. 10th St. Indpls., with calling from 12:30 until 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations made be to Vista Care Hospice or the Jazz Federation. www.stevensmortuary.net
