Obituary
Robbin Marie Riggins, 47, of Speedway, passed away Sunday, September 6, after a brief battle with cancer. Robbin was a delight to be around and she brought a smile to everyone's face. Robbin loved to write poetry and was awarded the "Editor's Choice Award" for outstanding achievement in poetry presented by the International Library of Poetry. Robbin was a very endearing daughter, sister, niece, aunt and best friend and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Diana and Richard Giacone; sisters, Sherry Riggins, Laura (Tom) Swiger, Cori (Adam) Spurgin; brothers, Robert Riggins, Max (Jenny) Wallace, Jay (Brenda) Giacone, Richie Giacone, Brad Giacone; she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her very much. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 11:00 am at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, with 1 hour of visitation prior to the service. What I will remember about Robbin is her amazing sense of humor, outrageously hilarious antics and her kindness. She didn't have a mean bone in her body; she knew no strangers, everyone was a friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Our deepest sympathies to the Riggins/Giacone family. May God keep you in your time of grief.
