Rita C. Housel 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 24, 2009. She was born on December 11, 1925. Rita is survived by her sons, John (Marta) Drake and Jerry (Mary Jane) Housel; daughters, Jeananne (Mark) Schultz and Peggy (Michael) Westberry; grandchildren, Cari Denham, Bob Housel and Tommy Drake; 5 great grandchildren, along with friend and caregiver, Melissa Gunder. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. Funeral services will be held later that day at 1:00 p.m. at the Washington Park East Cemetery Chapel. Online condolences may be made at: www.stevensmortuary.net
