Obituary
Michael Owen Fahrbach, Sr., 61, Indianapolis, passed away Dec. 31, 2009. He was born in Indianapolis on November 10, 1948. Michael had an Associate degree from Purdue University. He was an electrician for Allison Transmission for 28 years. He was a member of the Speedway Moose Lodge. Michael loved music and his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary G. Lowden and sister, Kelli Coleman. He is survived by his son, Michael Owen Fahrbach II, daughters Lisa Marie Fahrbach and Amy Davenport; sister Georgia Corey; brothers Phillip Fahrbach and Harry Lowden; five grandchildren and one great grandchild and his companion Diane Gray. Visitation will be Tues. Jan 5 from 4-8pm at Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. Funeral services will be held there Wed. Jan. 6 at 10:30am. www.stevensmortuary.net

I knew Mike from Parents without Partners in the 90's. About 10 to 15 of us hung out and danced together. He was an excellent dancer. We had so much fun. I just found out about his passing, quite by accident. I was on facebook and saw the name Fahrbach on a post. I thought I wonder if that is a relative of Mikes. After research, I was saddened to read about his passing. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy.
