Obituary
Nancy K. Hagan 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 21, 2010. She was born on March 22, 1931. Nancy worked at Cardinal Ritter High School for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary #497 and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Hagan and three grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Don (Sue) Hagan, Rick Hagan, Bobby Hagan, Michael (Donna) Hagan, Tim Hagan, Marty (Betty) Hagan, P.J. (Shari) Hagan, Jeff (Shay) Hagan, Greg (Laura) Hagan and Mary (Joe) McAuley; brothers, Jim and John Scharfenberger; 30 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls, from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 27 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3354 W 30th St, Indpls, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Vincent Hospice. www.stevensmortuary.net

Nancy was my mother in-law for 13 years and I am saddened by her loss. I will always remember Nancy being there for Greg and I when we lost our babies. She provided her shoulder for me to cry on, and I will always remember that. She is now in heaven with her husband and my three beautiful angels.
