Michael William McAuley 47, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 5, 2010. He was born on September 22, 1963. He is survived by his wife, Patty (Kestler) McAuley; son, David Hiner; daughters, Jennifer Hiner, Jackie Hiner, Leigh Ann (Ryan) Oedine and Jamie McAuley; mother and father, Mary Ann and Joseph L. McAuley Sr.; sisters, Dawn (Dennis) Hynds, Kim (Tony) Francis, Gayle (Larry) Whitmer, Terri (Dennis) McGrath and Karen (Charles) Brooker; brother, Joe (Mary) McAuley Jr.; 3 grandchildren and his loving companion, Phoenix. Visitation will be held October 10, 2010 from 11 a.m. to Noon, with a Noon service in Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers contributions are to be made to Chase Bank in care of Patricia McAuley. www.stevensmortuary.net

PATTY & FAMILY, DUANE & I ARE SO VERY SAD ABOUT MIKE'S PASSING. HE WAS A REAL GREAT GUY WHO WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR ANYONE, NO MATTER WHAT. WE WILL MISS GETTING TOGETHER WITH HIM OCCASIONALLY AND SHARING A LOT OF LAUGHS. HE WAS SUCH A FUNNY GUY...LIFE OF THE PARTY! HE WILL BE EXTREMELY MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. MAY HE REST IN PEACE. Dear Patty & Family, I am just stunned and saddened at your loss. Mike was just a wonderful guy. My heart is heavy for your loss. I wont be at the funeral. I was in an airport on way to vacation when I saw the obituary.(had bought Indy newspaper before I left). Please know you and the family are in my prayers. With deepest sympathy Theresa I am so sorry, my words seem so inadequate at this time of your loss.God be with You all.
