Obituary
David "Dave" T. Mattheis 50, of Indianapolis passed away on December 16, 2010. He was born on February 1, 1960. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Mattheis. David worked at Beartooth Decks Inc. for 10 years and also served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #758. David loved the outdoors and animals. Survivors include his wife, Patrea Sullivan Mattheis; son, David Mattheis; daughters, Celeste (Joe) Mattheis and Lauri Ann Mattheis; mother, Laura Mattheis; a sister, Kathy (Darrell) Devitt; 3 brothers, John Mattheis, Gordon (Susan) Mattheis and Stewart Mattheis; 1 grandchild Donovan Gahagan; several nieces and nephews; and his loving canine companions. A memorial service for David will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 1 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St. Indpls. www.stevensmortuary.net
