Mary A. Adams, 88, of Indianapolis passed away December 8, 2010. She was born on August 8, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Adams and son, James Kayler. She is survived by her 2 sons, Denny Kayler and Eddie Adams; daughters, Donna Kayler and Joan Tomey, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, December 13 from 11am-2pm with a 2pm service at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St. Indpls. www.stevensmortuary.net

My sympathy to the entire family. Mary was a sweet woman and will be greatly missed by all I am sure.I wish I could attend the service but won't be able to get off work. Love to Andy, and the rest of the family. Jo and Roger Johnson

It seems unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. However, remember the words at John 5:21,28,&29 where Jesus has promised to resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death just as he did for his dear friend Lazarus. Until that time, God has promised to bring comfort to all of his people during their tribulations. May you take refuge in the true God in heaven.

Words cannot express the pain it causes me not to be there with my family at this most tragic time. But I am comforted by looking forward to being there at Christmastime. Grandma loved Christmas, and I see my own love & celebration of Christmas as carrying on a beloved family tradition. I love you Grandma, please rest in peace.
