David W. DeWitt, 48, of Speedway, passed away March 17, 2011. David was born July 9, 1962 to Paul W. and Norma DeWitt. He worked for P.B.I trucking in sales. He loved IRL Racing, comics and movies. Survivors include his parents; son, Jacob DeWitt, daughters, Brea and Nina DeWitt; sisters Joyce DeWitt and Ruth Musgrave; and brother Doug DeWitt. David was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway, IN, where visitation will be held Monday, March 21 from 10-11am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Contributions to www.redcross.com in care of the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami. Arrangements by Stevens Mortuary and Family Center. www.stevensmortuary.net

condolences to the dewitt family, i met david when he stopped to talk with me at meadowood park ,and later enjoyed his humor and chats about music,racing ,food,and growing up in the 70's and 80's over at everett's driveway. i think he enjoyed them too.
