Obituary
Tom Guilfoy 57, of Indianapolis, passed away March 10, 2011. Tom was born August 6, 1953 to John and Catherine Guilfoy, who preceded him in death. He worked for Von Duprin for the past 33 years. He was a member of the K of C Holy Family Council #3682. Tom loved golf, fishing and true crime books. Survivors include his wife Susie Guilfoy; son, Joey Nelson; daughters, Christina (Eugene) Fossett, Nicole (Nate) Heim, Alexis Guilfoy, Amy Finnell, April Gibbons and Autumn Gibbons; sisters, Margaret Guilfoy and Beth Spiegl; brothers, John, Paul, Kevin, and Joe Guilfoy; 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His nephew, Brian Guilfoy also preceded him in death. Visitation will be Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 3 to 6 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St. Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 14 in St. Michael Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th St., Indpls. Contributions may be made to the local chapter of the Make-A -Wish Foundation. www.stevensmortuary.net

I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of a good friend. I started at Von Durpin at the age of 19 and Tom was about 25. I always looked up to Tom. I was able to learn a lot from him. I cannot count the hours that Tom and I spent playing basketball, softball, bowling and fishing. Tom had the kind of personality that drew people to him. He had some many friends at work.
