Obituary
Ruth W. Stefanko age 88, of Indianapolis, passed away May 15, 2011. She was born June 7, 1922. Ruth was a manager of Lindners Ice Cream store and was also a telephone operator for Indiana Bell. She was a member of St. Michael and Holy Trinity churches where she was a faithful school volunteer for both schools. Her husband, Frank J. Stefanko, of 45 years preceded her in death, along with her siblings, Evelyn, Walter, Richard Bonesteel. Ruth is survived by her son, Lawrence F. Stefanko; daughters, Linda K. Stefanko (Fred) and Patricia L. (Joe) Guilfoy; grandchildren, Kyle, Kayleigh and Tommy; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19 at Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 West 10th St., Indianapolis, from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church. Contributions may be made to the St. Michael School Technology Fund. www.stevensmortuary.net

Patty & Family- Please accept our sympathy on the passing of your mother, Ruth. She was one of the nicest people that we had the pleasure of knowing. She helped our team with the counting of the collection at St. Michael's Church for many years. We always enjoyed talking with her during those sessions. She will be missed.
