Obituary
Mary L. Mervar 90, passed away Saturday, June 25. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty years, Joseph. Mary devoted her life, compassion and energy to her family. Her enthusiasm was a source of inspiration to all family members. Survivors include her six children Joseph (Jennie) Mervar, Trena (Tom) Loudermilk, Dennis (Victoria) Mervar, Terri (John) Click, Lenora (Pat) Trapp, Lorisa (Marty) Cooper. Grandchildren David (Rebecca) Mervar, Perry (Jennifer) Mervar, Tommi Loudermilk, Tonijo Loudermilk, Jordan (Cecilia) Click, Ryne Click, Luke Trapp, Mitchell Trapp. Great grandchildren Nathaniel Mervar, Katelyn Mervar, Christopher Mervar, Sarah Mervar, Isaiah Mervar, Alexander Mervar, Lauren Mervar. ;Calling will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, June 30, at Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, 46224. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 1 at 10:00am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Indianapolis, 46224. Following the service, burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Christopher Catholic Church. Dear Mervar Family. So sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. She was a great person and I know you will all miss her. I remember the last time I saw her, she was with your Dad and they were taking their exercise walk around the park.I know that is what they are doing now, holding hands and walking around Heaven. We never had an opportunity to know Mary. However, we do know daughter Trena and now son Dennis. What a remarkable woman she must have been. Hearing her children talk, she made the part about honoring your parents a natural. We pray with all who mourn for Mary.
