Obituary
William Brian "Buzz" Nelson 61, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 3, 2011. He was born on March 29, 1950. Buzz worked at Praxair for 15 years. He was a former baseball player and an athletic person who loved all sports. He was preceded in death by his parents. Buzz is survived by his loving wife, Sharon K. Nelson; sons, Brian (Gina) Lowhorn and Brian Nelson; daughters, Kimberly Ladd, Stephanie (Scott) Frosh and Anestasia Smith; sisters, Mary Morris, Leanne McCullough and Marilyn Kosior and 14 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 W. 10th Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Noon, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th Street, with visitation one hour prior to service. www.stevensmortuary.net

Buzz was the first person to befriend me when I transfered to John F. Kennedy H.S.. We became instant friends, played baseball together on the school team and had many fun filled teenage experences together. I am so happy to see that he was blessed with many family loved ones during his life. He was a true friend and will be sadly missed. He and all of the Nelson family will be in ours prayers this week.
