Catherine Armstrong

Catherine "Katie" Roth Armstrong 80, of Speedway, passed away August 9, 2011. She was born February 21, 1931. Katie worked for 17 years at the Speedway Dairy Queen. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, George E. Armstrong; sons, Steve (Sharon) Armstrong, Larry (Patty) Armstrong and Danny (Rose) Armstrong; daughters, Linda (Charlie) Wise and Elaine (Mel) Brosman; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and Katie was a mother figure to other children not actually related but loved. Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W. 10th Street. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the mortuary. Contributions can be made to the American Lung Association. www.stevensmortuary.net
