Obituary
Leonard Melton 85, of Indianapolis, passed away October 1, 2011. He was born August 20, 1926. Leonard served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a member of American Legion Post 500. His brother, Luther Melton precedes him in death. Leonard is survived by his sons, James (Becky) Melton, John (Laura) Melton; daughter Peggy (Pete) McCool; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and partner, Sandra Robson; and sons, Troy and Mark. There will be no visitation or service. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society . Arrangements entrusted to Stevens Mortuary and Family Center. http://www.stevensmortuary.net

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Barbara and I will always cherish the wonderful times we had while raising our families in Eagledale. I especially remember the times your Dad, Bob Reuter and I had together. Please know all your family is in our prayers.

I will miss you Dad, our daily talks on the phone, our football Sundays. My baskets full of goodies at Christmas time for you. My Pointsettia plant for my birthday in December, along with my chocolate covered cherries. How will I ever be able to replace that feeling of you at my door with those gifts. I will think of you always.
