Edna B. Moody Downs Smith 94, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 12. She was born August 26, 1917. She did volunteer work at Garden City Christian Church and loved gardening and her birds. Edna was preceded in death by her 2 loving husbands, Carl Downs Sr. and William Smith. She is survived by her sons, Carl Downs Jr. and Leonard K. Smith; daughters, Wanda Inabnit and Waneta Montgomery; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary & Family Center , 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association . http://www.stevensmortuary.net
