Vickie Lynn Lively Hedges 62, of Indianapolis, passed away March 13, 2012. She was born on September 3,1949 in Evansville, IN. Vickie was employed at Adesa Auto Auction for 16 years. She was an amazing mom who loved spending time with her grandkids, family and friends. She loved to cook, dance and help others in need. She had a heart of gold and her smile would light up a room. Survivors include her daughter, Carrie (Bryan) Bowman; brother, Thomas Lively; grandchildren, Hailey, Shelby and McCoy; nieces, Misty and Julie Lively; nephews, Robert, Jarrod and Daniel Lively and best friend Theresa Ward. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Vickie Lynn Hedges will be held on Monday, March 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Charity Tabernacle, 2700 South Tibbs Avenue, Indpls. Contributions may be made to Charity Tabernacle. Arrangements entrusted to Stevens Mortuary & Family Center .

My Mom was my Best Friend. I sometimes feel like this is just a bad dream. My Mom was so loving, She always knew what to say and how to help. I am so thankful God gave me such an AMAZING Mother. She always made sure I had everything I needed, not everything I wanted but she gave me what some people long for a Mom who showed unconditional LOVE on a DAILY basis. I'm so glad she is out of pain and she got her wish NO MORE DOCTORS. :) I'm so thankful she was such a HUGE part of my children's life's. Also that she was able to have a relationship with McCoy before she passed away. That was one of her wishes for him to be able to remember her. I know he will. He said the other day. Can we go to Heaven to see Grandma. I LOVE YOU MOM and I will see you again. I cannot WAIT. WE LOVE and MISSS you TONS..xoxoxoxo
