Obituary
George Weeks, 75, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at Westside Village Health Center in hospice care. He was born in Bowling Green, KY, the son of Julia and Luther Weeks. He graduated from Purdue University in 1959, and continued to be an active supporter and avid fan of the University. He worked for many years in sales. He was an active member of the Westside Optimist Club, serving as a local and state officer. He was a longtime member of Speedway Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Dale; sons, Doug and his wife Charissa and children, Alex and Julia and Craig and his wife Marika and children Kyle and Connor. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 19 at 11 am in Speedway Christian Church, 5110 W. 14th Street, Indpls. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.

Dale, I'm so sorry to hear of George's passing. I did not know about it until it was too late to come for visitation. I always enjoyed working with him and have missed our chats. He was a good man and will be missed. You and family have my deepest sympathy.
