Obituary
Michael Joseph Morley, 59, of Bloomfield, lost his battle with cancer on June 21, 2012. Michael was born in Indianapolis on June 20th, 1953. He attended St. Michael Catholic School and Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis. He continued on to receive his bachelor's degree from Purdue University. Michael worked for Citizen's Energy Group for over 25 years, retiring in 2009 as the Director of Special Projects after serving many years as the Director of Underground Storage. Michael was an avid golfer, Purdue fan, and enjoyed carpentry work and spending time with his family. Michael was active for many years with the United Way, and was a long-time member of the Elks Lodge #866 in Linton, IN. Michael is survived by wife Bonnie Emerson, daughters Megan Morley and Sarah Morley Schmitt (Michael), sister Kathleen Nagy, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Tim Koger, and nephews and niece. Michael is preceded in death by his father and mother, Herbert "Bud" R. Morley and Mary Ann Morley.

Mike was a co-worker in the storage field. He served us well during his years there. It is so sad when one so young is taken away from friends and family. We pray that the good Lord will take care of him as well as his family. I knew Mike and Martha and the girls back in the 1980's. Lou gladish

I was so sorry to hear of Mikes passing. He wasn't able to make our last reunion but I was hoping to see him at the next one. I remember him from grade school on through high school. He was always very nice to me and a pleasure to be around. I am so sad to have lost another classmate. God speed Mike and I know I will see you again some day.
