Corey Alan Foster, 54 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 3, 2024. He was born on January 15, 1970 to parents Donald and Roberta (Carmichael) Foster who have preceded him in death.

Corey is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carla (Appleman) Foster. They were married on June 4, 1988 in Indianapolis, Indiana, where they raised four beautiful children together.

Additional survivors include his children Kimberly (Karl) Emanuel, Kyle (Taylor) Foster, Kevin Foster, and Nevaeh Foster; grandchildren Paisley, Paxton and Emerson; sister Tobey (Josh) Clark, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Corey worked for National Car Sales for ten years, and Ben Davis Conservancy District for 25 years.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, and his dog Molly.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at Steven's Mortuary located at 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN, 46224. An additional visitation will begin the following day on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 10am until time of funeral services at 11am. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield, Indiana.

I had the pleasure of knowing Corey for the past 16 years, I had the greater pleasure of marrying his daughter. Corey was an incredibly hard working man and always did his best to provide for his family I never seen a want unmet by this man. He was always there for his family, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that ever asked. He was well liked by everyone he met, he had an incredible sense of humor, there wasn't a single time I can recall that he didn't make someone laugh every time I was around, all the way til the end that was one thing he never lost was the ability to make you smile. He's got incredibly big shoes to fill and I can only hope to be the kind of family man that he was.
