Gwendolyn (Gwen) K. Watson, 67, of Indianapolis passed away on July 30, 2012. She was born on January 1, 1945. She was the first baby to be born in Indianapolis in 1945. She was a retired clerical assistant with the Indianapolis Police Department. She was an avid sports fan ,enjoyed watching classic movies and reading. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma; and father, Samuel. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Murphy (Robert); nephew Robert Murphy (Jennifer); great nephews Justin and Alexander Murphy; and, niece Jennifer Richards (Scott). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Indiana Mental Health Memorial Foundation, Inc. 1431 N. Delaware Street Indianapolis, IN 46202
