Obituary
David Vancil, 66, of Brownsburg, IN passed away on October 6, 2012. David proudly served in the United States Air Force for 23 years and worked for the FAA for 20 years. David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Anita; son, Michael and daughters, Christina and Laura. Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 13 from 11 am - 2 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St., Indpls. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the United Service Organization, P.O. Box 96322, Washington, DC 20090 or www.USO.org.

My heart goes out to David's family for the immense loss that they are experiencing and that will forever change their lives. The loss of a husband, father, brother, grandfather is never easy and is especially hard when that person is loved as much as David was. I am blessed to have had him in my life and to have watched his family grow. Stay kind to each other and be strong for each other and most of all LOVE each other for that is the most important healer of all. I wish I could take away your sorrow but I know that I can't the best I can do is share it with you and hope that it is enough. Rest in peace my friend.
